Civic Square was buzzing with energy as the Little Food Festival served up two vibrant days of excitement, flavour, fun and discovery in the heart of Launnie! 🐝
Little foodies and their families planted, cooked, danced, tasted and created their way through the wonderful world of food, discovering where it comes from, how it fuels us and how it reaches our plates.
As a UNESCO City of Gastronomy, Launceston was the perfect setting for this adventure, celebrating our region’s connection to food while inspiring the next generation of curious eaters, growers, makers and thinkers. 🌱
The event was brought to life by the incredible people and organisations who shared their expertise, led activities on and off stage, volunteered their time and donated fresh food and produce.
A big thank you to our event partners, the University of Tasmania, Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture, and our official Move Partner, the Hobart Hurricanes, for helping to bring this free event to Launnie! 🍎
